2010 Lincoln Town Car

The 2010 Lincoln Town Car is the only American-brand premium-large sedan with rear-wheel drive. It comes in Signature Limited and limousine-like Signature L with a 6-inch-longer wheelbase. All use a 239-horsepower 4.6-liter V8 engine that can run on E85 ethanol-blended fuel. The sole transmission is a 4-speed automatic.

Available safety features include ABS, traction control, and front-side airbags. Standard features include power-adjustable pedals, dual-zone automatic climate control, and leather upholstery with heated front seats. Signature L models add rear audio and climate controls and heated rear seats. Among the few options are xenon headlamps and chrome alloy wheels.

Newly available on the Signature Limited is a Continental Edition Package, which includes specific interior and exterior trim. Note that dealers do not stock Town Cars as part of their regular inventory. They must be special ordered for retail delivery.

2009 Lincoln Navigator

The 2009 Lincoln Navigator gets some new standard features. This premium large SUV is a dressed-up version of Ford’s Expedition and comes in standard-length models and the 15-inch-longer Navigator L. Both versions seat up to eight. The sole powertrain is a 310-hp 5.4-liter V8 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

All Navigators offer rear-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive that can be left engaged on dry pavement. Maximum towing capacity is 9000 lb. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. Standard are leather upholstery and wood interior trim.

Newly standard on the 2009 Navigator are front-obstacle detection, Ford’s Sync voice-activated interface for cell phones and MP3 players, heated 2nd-row seats, and a rearview camera. Also newly standard is Ford’s EasyFuel capless fuel filler, which allows owners to refill their gas tanks without having to remove a cap. Options include a navigation system and DVD entertainment.

2010 Lincoln Navigator

The 2010 Lincoln Navigator is largely unchanged. This premium-large SUV is a dressed-up version of Ford’s Expedition and comes as a standard-length wagon and the 15-inch-longer Navigator L. Standard seating is for 7 on 2nd-row bucket seats. Eight-passenger seating via a 2nd-row bench is a no-cost option. The sole powertrain is a 310-horsepower 5.4-liter V8 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The old Lincoln Mark LT was the best selling Lincoln in all of Mexico, so it only makes sense that this new version is going to make them go loco all over again. It’s a pretty standard truck, but it’s Lincoln and it is pretty flashy. What do you guys think of it?

Both 4×2 and 4×4 versions of Mark LT are available with a longer, 6.5-foot cargo bed providing an additional 10 cubic-feet of cargo capacity from the standard 5.5-foot cargo bed.

The 2009 Lincoln MKZ gains an antiskid system as a newly-standard safety feature. This premium midsize sedan has a 263-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine and a choice of front- or all-wheel drive. A 6-speed automatic is the sole transmission.

Previously unavailable, the 2009 Lincoln MKZ has a standard antiskid system. Other available safety features include ABS, traction control, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. Rear obstacle detection and heated and cooled front seats are standard.

Also standard is Ford’s Sync, which offers voice control for cell phones and MP3 players. A navigation system, sunroof, remote engine start, and xenon headlights are among the options offered.

2010 Lincoln MKZ

The 2010 Lincoln MKZ gets freshened exterior and interior styling and some new features. This premium-midsize sedan has a 263-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine and a choice of front- or all-wheel drive. A 6-speed automatic is the sole transmission. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, and front-side airbags.

A new Sport Appearance Package includes a sport suspension, 18-inch wheels, and specific interior and exterior trim. Ford’s Sync voice-activated control for cell phones and MP3 players is standard. Newly offered on the 2010 Lincoln MKZ is blind-spot alert.

The system also incorporates Ford’s “Cross Traffic Alert”, which activates when the transmission is in reverse; it detects any traffic moving toward the vehicle. A rearview camera is optional, as is a voice-activated navigation system with real-time traffic alerts and a hard drive for storing digital music files.

2009 Lincoln MKX

The 2009 Lincoln MKX sees no major changes. This crossover SUV seats five and shares its basic design with the Ford Edge. MKX offers front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The sole powertrain is a 265-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine that teams with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is 3500 lb.

Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. Heated and cooled front seats and a driver-seat memory system are standard.

Also standard is Ford’s Sync voice-activated control for cell phones and MP3 players. A Limited Edition Package includes specific trim, 20-inch wheels, and upgraded leather upholstery.
