The 2009 Kia Amanti gains a few new features. Amanti returns in a single trim level with a 264-hp 3.8-liter V6 engine. The only transmission remains a 5-speed automatic.

Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front and rear side airbags. Leather upholstery, heated front seats, power-adjustable pedals, a driver-seat memory system, and a sunroof are optional.

A new audio system includes a USB port, an auxiliary jack, and satellite radio.
